Project Polaroid Article

My dear friend, Ryan Allis, emailed me this morning, telling me he had written an article on his blog and website about "Project Polaroid". It's up at: http://www.ryanallis.com and http://humanitycampaign.org/.

Ryan perpetually inspires and motivates young social entrepreneurs to combine their talents with helping others. Ryan is one of the main reasons why I began Project Polaroid, and he has helped me from the planning stage through the execution, continuing to help me with every launch across the world. He even began his own "Project Polaroid" this past summer when he went to Uganda.

Ryan "is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iContact, the leading provider of email marketing tools for small businesses. He has built the Durham-based company, iContact, from its start in July 2003 to its current size with over 110 employees, 30,000 customers, and $16 million in annual sales. In 2005, Ryan was named by BusinessWeek as one of the “Top 25 Entrepreneurs Under 25.” He is the author of the book Zero to One Million: How I Built a Company To $1 Million in Sales and How You Can Too, published by McGraw-Hill."
